Today is the feast of St. Albert the Great, a renowned Dominican philosopher, theologian and scientist who taught at the universities in Cologne and Paris. It was at the University of Paris that St. Albert taught St. Thomas Aquinas, encouraging Thomas to write the
Summa. St. Albert's works included the compilation of an encyclopedia of the learning of his day. His study of the natural sciences was far ahead of his time .
St. Albert the Great, please pray for all our students and teachers today ... may we always seek the Truth!
