Yet another reason why I homeschool ...

2011 by MCG
The interesting thing I've found over my past 10 years of homeschooling is the simple fact that I'm learning right alongside the kids ... whether it's learning things I have forgotten or things I never knew, the fascinating thing is that I'm always learning from my kids as well as while I'm teaching them.

God, in His infinite wisdom, gave each of us a brain that is a great and glorious thing ... but like any muscle in our body, it needs to be exercised.

How are you exercising your brain today?

  1. Reading your blog is how! But seriously, you are so right. I learn , and have learned, a lot via homeschooling.

  2. Ah, thanks Leonie! It really is amazing all the stuff I didn't learn in my BHL (before home learning) years of life!

  3. this is so true for me as well. Many times I have pondered the thought, that surely I must have learned some fact in grade school, only to need to re learn it with my dc.

  4. Please consider submitting something about homeschooling to the Carnival of Homeschooling. If you are interested, here are the instructions.

If this week is bad for you, you are always welcome to submit to future carnivals.

If a "blog carnival" is a new term, this might help.

Here is the archive of previous carnivals

Participating in a blog carnvial is a good way to get more exposure for your blog.

    Thank you for your consideration.
